In September 2009 Giorgio Armani has launched Idole d’Armani. Idole d’Armani is a spicy floral developed by perfumer Bruno Jovanovic, and features notes of jasmine, patchouli, ginger, clementine, vetiver, pear, saffron, loukoum rose and davana.

Giorgio Armani has created an opulent floral fragrance, the unexpected encounter of an inspiration from the Orient and timeless Italian elegance. The new perfume for women is meant as “a real tribute to femininity, a big thank you to all the women who have inspired [Armani] over the years”.

Giorgio Armani Idole d’Armani will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Givenchy “Ange ou Demon Le Secret”

In August 2009 Givenchy has launched Ange ou Démon Le Secret, a new fragrance for women fronted by actress Uma Thurman.

Ange ou Démon Le Secret is a delicate floral developed by perfumer Bernard Ellena. The fragrance notes include green tea, white peony, blond woods, patchouli, sambac jasmine, cranberry, white musk, citrus, and water flower.

The bottle was designed by Serge Mansau. Actress Uma Thurman waas chosen as the face of the fragrance, and featureed in an advertising film shot by Mira Nair, and a print advertisement photographed by Mario Testino.

Givenchy Ange ou Démon Le Secret is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Beyonce HeatYesterday February 3, at Macy’s Herald Square Beyoncé Knowles made an appearance, launching her debut scent, Beyoncé Heat under the tag line “Catch The Fever”.

Heat was developed by perfumers Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin; the notes include magnolia, honeysuckle nectar, red vanilla orchid, blush peach, amber, almond macaroon, tonka bean, sequoia milkwood, neroli , and crème de musk.

Beyoncé Heat will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
