In August 2009 Givenchy has launched Ange ou Démon Le Secret, a new fragrance for women fronted by actress Uma Thurman.
Ange ou Démon Le Secret is a delicate floral developed by perfumer Bernard Ellena. The fragrance notes include green tea, white peony, blond woods, patchouli, sambac jasmine, cranberry, white musk, citrus, and water flower.
The bottle was designed by Serge Mansau. Actress Uma Thurman waas chosen as the face of the fragrance, and featureed in an advertising film shot by Mira Nair, and a print advertisement photographed by Mario Testino.

Humanity perfume is a joint collaboration between Anne McClain, a graduate of the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, and Trust Art.
Inspired by the icon of the sacred heart found in Mexico, collaborator Lance McGregor designed a fountain with a glass anatomical heart which sits atop a stone base. The heart will be cast and hand-crafted by fellow Brooklyn artist Alan Iwamura. Perfumed water will flow gently and calmly over the heart and cycle back; all of the mechanics for the fountain will be solar powered. The Humanity fragrance was created as a fundraiser to support the Humanity project.
The Humanity personal fragrance is based around the Indian white lotus flower, a symbol of purity from ancient cultures. Rich with vanilla inflections with notes of maté tea and sustainable sandalwood from Australia, the scent is fresh, sheer, floral and woody.
Humanity is available in 12 ml Perfume Oil in a custom-designed glass sculpted bottle made by Alan Iwamura
